Feel like shit again today, fucking tired of this cold. Just wanna feel better. Leaving for work in 15 minutes.
Q:I saw you were about to get a binder and thought I'd throw some advice your way.
The two companies I know and love are Underworks and T-Kingdom. I got my first two from Tk and I still have and use them everyday. My third I got from Underworks and I wear it on days when I feel really self conscious and need to be completely flat. It feels a bit tighter than the Tk one, but it's not too uncomfortable.
My favorite model is the 980 from Tk and the 983 from Uw. I started off with the Tk 690 and it worked well, but I wasn't a big fan of the velcro. The Uw model is machine washable, but the Tk models highly recommend hand washing them (mum tossed mine in the washer against my will, but thankfully it seems to be fine).
Always check the sizing charts since every company sizes their shit differently and you don't want to get something too big or too small. Binder injuries are serious business, so don't overlook it if your new binder is causing you pain. A bit of discomfort is ok at first since it needs to get broken in, but later on it shouldn't feel so uncomfortable. Just always keep in mind that being able to breathe is always more important than having a flat chest, no matter what your dysphoria tells you.
Hope you enjoy your new binder, and remember to stay safe, bro!
Thanks for the advice man. I’d been looking at T-Kingdom and really liked the design and look of most of their binders. It’s really cool to hear that they work really well too /excited
